Looking for the best price on a Brother DR2125 Drum.
Better still if you know of any deals on Brother printers that use this drum.
For example, DR-2125 suits BROTHER HL-2140 / 2142 / 2150N / 2170W / DCP-7040 / MFC-7340 / 7440N / 7840W.
Worse case scenario, is anyone using "compatible" drums that they would recommend?

I have a Brother MFC 7840W for work and the drum needs replacing. Apart from printing I need it for scanning and e-mail. I haven't been able to find a cheap $60-$70 compatible brother printer that uses the DR2125. However, I will take up your suggestion to buy the cheap compatible drum from Aussie Toner at Ebay. cheers, Steve.

Honestly, depending on the printer model I wouldn't bother; the low end brother printers are cheap as chips, just buy a new one for $60-70 or so!
If you really want to go the drum replacement route, ebay has heaps of good compatibles, just look for 99%+ positives etc as usual…I got a drum for a 2140 from 'Aussie Toner' (IIRC) once that was fine, and was well under half OEM price! I only did it once though, $60 for drum vs $68 for a whole new 2170 was a bit of a no brainer at the time! ;)
