$29 3 cap is back. ($10 cash back) ----Z610i-- potentially paying just $2.50 a month

150

The $29 cap with $10 credit is back. This time you can even get the Sony Ericsson Z610i.
Once again you could be potentially paying just $2.50 a month if you don't go over the minimum spend. Let me show you the steps.

Minimum spend on a $29 cap for 24 months = $20x24 = $480
Step 2: $10 discount each month: $10x24 = $240
Step 3: Sell the Z610i on eBay for around $180- $200
Step 4: say you sold the phone for $180: (Step2 - Step3 )= 240-180 = $60
Step 5: Divide the $60 into 24 months = $2.50 a month….

  • Thats $2.50 per month if you use $10 or less worth of calls (mind you, the call rates are very high). And in addition, you would need a phone to use the service on, as the example above shows it was sold on ebay.

The deal is a good one, but the new round of phones in my view aren't as good as the original offering.

    • Thats $2.50 per month if you use $20 or less worth of calls ($10 credit). and actually if you buy online through moneyback, it's only $1.25 lol ($30 moneyback)

  • Only if you can sell the phone for $180!
OK… buzz me if anyone want the phone for $170 :p

  • the Nokia 6288 is still available and you can choose LG U310

you can get another $25 if you are referred by someone~
    so, (60-25)/24=1.46

I can refer you just send your name to [email protected]
    o(∩_∩)o…haha

  • Hope I'm not 'spamming' but if you get someone to refer you you can get another $25 discount. I'll be more than glad to refer anyone if they need a referral (just make sure you get a referral 24 hours BEFORE you sign up). I recently signed up to this deal and with the help of Pete here I was able to squeeze the most out of the deal as possible. Feel free to msg me if you need a hand!

  • It would almost be cheaper for me to pay out my current contract and pick this one up (am on their 29 cap)

  • @AlexBlom: Yeah I almost jumped on the deal last time, I too am on the 29 cap, 12 months into my 24 month contract. But I worked it all out and unless I was further into my contract I don't make any savings until after 12 months. I have all the numbers nutted out still if you want me to show you my calculations. Still if you have cash at the moment and just want a smaller monthly bill despite not breaking even for ages its a good idea. Or if you need a new phone or whatever then it becomes a great idea. I hope such a deal is available later into my contract.

  • The $29 cap will now include $150 worth of calls and text, up from $120.

Hutchison also increased the value of included calls to other 3 users, with $160 worth included on the $29 cap, up from $70.
