Just a quick question, when I purchase through eBay there is the option to pay with credit card through PayPal versus processing the credit card direct. What's the difference between the two? i.e which option would you choose and why?

If you use a cc on eBay, Paypal processes it though even if you never leave the site and go to PP
Credit card through PayPal. 2 layers of protection and money back options.
The way PayPal has been lately, it’s two opportunities for them to screw you over
Financial ombudsman and the credit card company trump PayPal though.

I suppose it depends on what the exchange rate difference is between them for foreign exchange, as well as how much you loathe paypal (which I daresay they have plenty of reasons to).
Ebay and paypal used to be associated and now are separate. ebay figures they can take a larger fee, Paypal's cut, if they do the CC themself.
