FAQs:
What is the difference between blue and brown switches?
Blues are clicky, Browns are "tactile" (the bump is small). They are tactile with a soft bump halfway through the key press. These tactile switches are not all the way tactile as they are still easy to double tap but also offer that desirable tactile feedback though not as noticeable as with blue switches. Browns are easy to actuate with minimal force.
Are Blue switches good for gaming?
They're perfectly fine. I guess if you try to bounce the switch around to get that last little bit of precision in your movements you won't like them, but I've never had issues with small, precise movements using them and the feeling makes them incredibly nice to use while gaming.

  • I could be tempted. Why are browns always more expensive?

    • Because they're better, at least in my opinion.

Why are browns always more expensive?

Because it's hard to find toilet paper…

    • I am guessing supply and demand. The brown switches are favoured by gamers who are willing to spend more. Having said that, some companies are selling brown/blue/red at the same price. Like this one https://au.ttesports.com/switch.aspx

  • Great keyboards but some of my backlights have broken but the keyboard has lasted 2+ years. The keys still work just the lights don't on 4 keys. Could also be cause I'm a grub lol.
For the price it's a good deal.

  • Just for punters these are not Cherry switches but Outema Switches.

Not a bad thing, just a thing. Many a posts online with fans for both sides.

  • Can you put a set of keycaps designed for Cherry switches onto these Outemu stems?

What about low profile DSA keycaps?

Is that how it works? Coz Id like to be able to get a nice modern font set on a wireless board.

Im happy to leave the backlighting off.

    • Sorry to disappoint you but this a wired keyboard.

    • They're Outemu switches but have the Cherry stem, so you should be fine (so long as you don't buy the Razer/Corsair sets which have an uneven bottom row). Check out Aliexpress for some budget options, or if you want some of the good stuff - check out Daily Clack

  • FYI I have the Brown Switch Kogan one. i could hear the spring bouncing back for some keys which is very annoying. Pretty sure other users reported the same thing.
