  Had two of these (X3s) in our house for 28 months until they both stopped working within the same week. Good toothbrushes but poor workmanship. We have the Oclean now so we'll see how they go.

        Yes i have been waiting for oclean x to drop its price to around $50 or 60.
        new model comes up so hopefully the original x will drop

          @CyberMurning: After my trash Soocas X3 broke down, I ordered the ocleanx pro a while back because I liked the colour but it's not anywhere close to being shipped.

          Meanwhile I have to resort to using a normal toothbrush like some kind of caveman.

            @ChillBro: Yeah everything slow now due to corona. Let us know how it is when you get the pro. I'm not sure the difference between X and X Pro. Also why they need to go to indigo backing thingies again?

              -battery life and charge time
              -the rpm might be a bit higher

              I think also there is only one indigo blue color for the pro..not sure if there is more colors

                  interesting thing is the battery is both 800 mAh
                  but the standby time is 30 days instead of 21 days..

                  not sure if it means much if you use it daily
                  and it would need recharge as often in one or the other models

                  but if the battery is draining faster in standby mode in the older model
                  then it could mean the battery is more efficient in the pro model
                  and that means you need to charge it less often since most of the time it would be in standby mode
                  unless you are using it..

                      Also depending on how long you can wait, these newer models should be in many asian stores eventually

                      BTW I also think they do these crowd funding
                      so they see out how much of demand there is for that product and get feedback etc
                      as well as sell more items

                      the money also quickly helps pay for their R and D cost

                      I think that standby battery time improvement is worth waiting for the newer product

    2 and a half years use from cheap toothbrush not good enough for you?
    My Philips Sonicare's keep dying after about 18months. Onto my 4th replacement!

  Not sure about this model, or if it applies to all these 'sonic' brushes, but I bought the 'Soocas SO WHITE' from here last year and it was completely useless at its only job - It just sort of rubbed the plaque around without removing it…perhaps my teeth are immune to the good vibrations :p

  I shouldn't have expected much for $14, but oh well. Switched back to the supermarket Oral B oscillating one which has been fine

    Yeah the cheap ones don't seem to be good. The X3 is a lot better.

    All this chinese brand are confusing. I saw the x5 but it no details on the website. Not sure how different it is to the x3.
