What about Bixby & Cortana?
My wife made a cat scratcher almost identical to this. Cost about $20 (at Bunnings) and took 10 minutes for her to put together. Now I'm not suggesting you hire my wife to make you cat scratchers….but it's a pretty straight forward process and you feel like a better Ozbargainer for not spending crazy money on cat stuff that falls apart pretty quickly.

Party pooper
What did she make it out of? I was thinking of making one by gluing carpet to PVC pipe
Square pine board approx 30x30, square post and a smaller square board at the top. Wrapped in a rough rope and stalled on. Just ran 4 large screws through base and it’s solid. Very easy project.
This kind of rope?
@ShouldIBuyIt: Yep, that’s the one
@dmorg78: Thanks mate, What's the best, thin or thick? 6/8/10mm
@ShouldIBuyIt: Ours must be 10mm. Has held up to daily cat scratching really well.
can you post a picture of it?
Thanks OP. Ordered.
I bought this a year or so ago. It's always been this price and, yes, it's very good.
agreed very good cat scratcher. I paid about $80.
also chiming in, have had mine for about a year, we were recommended it because it "will last the life of your cat"
love that it doesn't tip over
Looks nearly identical besides being shorter to the one I just bought from Catch
$59.90 + $10.00 shipping to Perth
So far it's been ok and I've got a big 8kg cat that uses it.
Not sure if there is a difference in materials or quality?
Big difference in weight. This one: 8.1kg. Catch one: 4.5 kg.
Is there some code to put in? I’m getting $151.49
Awesome deal for $64.76 though!
Purchase through the amazon US store via amazon.com.au website.
Need prime for the free delivery.
Oh wait looks like it's sold out
looks like they realised their mistake and upped the price to cover delivery.
how do you prevent the cat scratching the furniture and use the scratching post?
If you had a scratching post from day 1 of your family cat, then they don't scratch furniture but pushing around or falling on the ground which is another issue lol
I'd suggest people to keep an eye on it. Small amounts of stock keeps popping up every and then before it resorts the the $150 price with no shipping cost.
Back in stock it seems.
So would this make the cat respond to Alexa or Google Assistant?
