Unsure if targeted, I have been a game pass member before for 3 months for $1.

This is the message I get when attempting to join game pass ultimate for $1 for first month, if you stack 36 months of XBOX Live Gold you can get 36 months of game pass for $1.

Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass membership(s) into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the same amount of time, up to a total of 36 months. All conversions are final; conversion ratio subject to change. See xbox.com/gamepass

  This has been known for a while. I've been trying to find a good deal on Xbox Live before I switch to game pass.

    I couldn't find an active deal on ozb and thought it was definently worth a post. I went straight to looking for a good deal on live also as I only have 5 months left. I'm considering paying full price for live just to get the deal on game pass, still a great deal.

      No worries. I agree it's still a great deal, only issue is ponying up the $240 for 3yrs of Live, lol.

        I paid $180ish. Bought 3 brazil 12 month codes @ $60 each and used vpn to redeem it. Then turned vpn off and on my xbox paid the $1 to upgrade to ultimate.
        Had to contact through online chat though to cancel the last month of my current aussie gold as i couldn't apply the brazilian membership on top of the aussie one.

    Yes you get Live Gold and Game Pass.
