  • How is it? Anyone has it?

I have the Steel HR Sport which is very similar

      Pros
Amazing battery life (Haven't reached 25 days but gets close to 3 weeks)
      Design is quite nice
      Quick progress is useful

      Cons
      Scratched the glass already
Notification scrolling speed is way too slow (I prefer a full screen snapshot so I can have a quick decision if its important)
Loses connection to phone and doesn't show notification sometimes
      Vibration is weak

Thanks …. I will skip this.

      • How's the 24/7 HR monitoring? Does it automatically detect you're doing activity and adjust the sampling frequency to suit?

        Thanks

I read somewhere that the HR poll less often to save battery
The HR readings in the app show little gaps so that may be true

The app does tell me it detects activity and asks if I want to save it
so I would imagine that increases the polling rate during those times

  • Better buy Amazfit GTR

I wanna go for a basic smartwatch like this. I don't actually care about anything except for the activity monitoring - notifications are prettty redundant for my purposes… but I feel like i've been trapped into the Fitbit ecosystem after having a Charge 2 for over two years now.

I had the version of this watch without heart monitoring after switching from fitbit and honestly I prefer the withings app (Health Mate)

      • Any way to easily move data across?

        • Not that I found, i've just started with a clean slate
