Walked into thrift park safeway liquor in mentone last night and they had a 6 pack of Chang beer for $12 ($14-16). Also when i took it up to the counter the lady gave me two awesome looking chang beer pot glasses. No idea how long the deal is on for and if it's available at other safeway liquor stores.
Pretty easy to drink if you want something light and refreshing. Probably not the beer for you if you like a stronger flavoured beer.
pretty similar in that they are both pretty weak, more sweet than bitter and highly carbonated

Chang is similar in sweetness to Corona but has more of a bitter finish. There's heaps more malt in the taste and aroma. It's similar to Corona in that it's quite watery. The Thai domestic version has more flavour, and is 6.4% alcohol, the export version in Australia is only 5%. As a lager it's a good drop, although I'd much prefer a microbrewed pale ale. But Chang is usually at least $15 for a sixpack, so $12 is still a bargain with free glasses, upvote from me.
I love hearing people discuss the subtle aromas and bitterness between different brands of watery piss lager. My only question is: why support a foreign company, when we make perfectly acceptable camel urine beer right here? What is carlton mid not exotic enough for you?
It's light enough to drink to things like a pad thai without overpowering the meal. While it's not my drink of choice for with a BBQ or just drinking beer by itself, the "piss-weak" beer has its place.
Anything that makes beer drinkable in different situations gets my thumbs up. Hell, if they come up with a really sweet sugary beer that borders on a cider but goes good with ice cream, I'm in.

So far seven people have something wrong with them and aren't man enough to own up to it.
Chang is pretty good its one of the stronger Thai beers.
Easy to drink, I think they use to buy cartons at 38 bucks at BWS on special, but this was a while back.
