    Wow, super deal! Thanks OP.

    • +5

It is a ripper deal. You can choose to shop for deal 2&3 or even just deal 3.

      • +2

Good idea. Do you need to re-activate every week, or just the once?

  • Legend

  • +6

This has been a regular targeted offer over last few years.

So on Facebook - available to all with a Rewards card!

In targeted offers, only need to shop in week(s) you want. So I shop in week 3 for best benefit.

    • True, one ignorant negged me above.

      • +9

        Upvoted!

Bonus points are earnt on a week's spend - so shop the weeks you want. One week doesn't unlock the next week's offer.

Am locked into 4 week $50 spend @Coles. Miss a week & all points are lost! That's why I like this offer👍
This offer's Wk3 is week after that ends, so good timing!

        Received same targeted offer.

        • May I know where it mentions this?

          • +1

            @sub102: In the Deal
            Week 3 - Mon 16 Mar - Sun 22 Mar
Spend $50 GET 3000 Bonus Points
            etc

Each weeks bonus points are separate. No requirement to shop in other weeks to get that weeks points.
I've been doing this for years with this offer when sent in email.

        • If you play the long game with Coles try doing a shop and not scanning on the Monday you get a new offer and spend that you'll get another then ring up and add docket and you get it all

          • +1

@Troyp: Coles is great - if you purchase without scanning Flybuys, ring or return with receipt & they scan it's barcode & card so you qualify for points.

          • @Troyp: How does this work? What if they don't give you new offer to double dip?

            • @SnoozeAndLose: They send it to you if they don't you still go back within a week and the store adds points for you you can only win or win

              • @Troyp: I think you can also call c's, sometime going back to the store is a problem

    • Week 3 is only good if you use week 1 as well or get 1000 points some other way as you redeem in multiples of 2000.

      • +5

So you're saying the 3000pts is no good??😉 Large amount of points are always nice!

Wk3 has the best pts to $ ratio. That's why I usually only bother with it. Sometimes I have overlapping targeted offers where each week is Wk3!

Points are redeemable in multiples of 2000. Just add to card with 1000 other points or add points later - as you say.

I get targeted offers like this most weeks, so the points pile up quickly. Multiple Rewards accounts are useful! I rarely bother with collecting the small pts offers.

eg Took out $140 Woolies car insurance in December & received 20k points ($100). Then get 10% discount once a month I can combine with offer like this.

Woolies Mobile has the same 10% shopping discount. Picked up their $10 SIM for $1 in targeted offer yesterday.

      • So, there's also a 3x Reward Points on each Shop.

I don't suppose that'd Stack with this Deal, or would it…?

  • Thanks

  • +2

Stackable with other current deals like 8500 points over 2 weeks and 3x points deals?

    • I'd like to know this too.

    • Hope so, they are both showing under my activated offers.

      • +2

Where can you see your activated offers?

        • +3

Within Woolworths app: Android or iOS

Tap on your points after you link your Woolworths Rewards account.

(No need to create a Woolworths Online account unless you want to shop online.)

    • If eligible for multiple bonus points offers, only 1 (one) standard Woolworths point can be earned once for all eligible offers.

I'm not sure if this exactly means they all apply but yeah this is in the terms and conditions

    • They do. All activated offers stack. It is pretty rare for Woolies to push concurrent offers, but when they do they stack.

    • +2

Can confirm they are stackable. I have a 10,000 points deal over 4 weeks already running plus this deal. Both show up on the receipt as active.

      • +1

        Thanks for the confirmation.

  • Thanks op,that's huge 25% off!

    • Technically not.

    • +1

its spend $120 to get $150 worth of stuff. So 20%, assuming you dont spend a cent over the weekly threshold. still decent though

  • How does this work, does $30, $40 and $50 need to be spent in one shop?

    • +3

      Yes,in one shop

    • +4

      One shop per week

  • +2

3x Bonus Point work with this deal

    • Thanks

    • -3

So spend $30 get 3000 points worth $15. Amazing if true.

      • +3

3x is on the base $30 so you get 90 plus 1000

        • Thanks. That makes sense.

      • +2

No, that's not how it works.

EDIT - I'm replying to Aureus.

    • +5

Spend $30 (first week) then get 1000 bonus pts + 3x30 = 90 pts total = 1090 points. I think this is how it calculates.

  • +3

Awesome! I’ve enrolled my husband and myself…

  • How much are the points worth? Does anyone know?

    • +5

      2000 points = $10 off next purchase

  • +2

Anyone know where on the facebook page or which facebook page this is originally posted as I cannot find anything.

    • I’d like to know also, couldn’t find anything either.

  • -1

Opal recharge at Woolies doesn't count.. right?

    • What do the terms and conditions say in the link?

  • +1

Next time the jabra elites are 170 + 2000 Qantas points I'll be ready !!

    • -2

      These aren't qantas points though?

      • +2

They can be converted into Qantas points if you link your QFF account.

  • I just bought $170 worth and only activated just then… Will i still qualify ?

    • +4

Should say on the receipt if you earned the 1000 Bonus points for week 1

      T&Cs:

To ensure your offer has been added to your Woolworths Rewards card, you must activate your offer at least 2 hours before shopping in-store or online

Edit: If you are saying you activated after you shopped then no, that shop didn't give you any bonus points.

    • +1

      No.

  • +1

Can you have more than 1 offer activated?
I’m currently already in the middle of a 2 week spend for points. Was going to do my shopping tomorrow for the current offer. But what happens if I activate this offer as well?

    • +5

Pretty sure they've double stacked and worked with me in the past

    • +2

Seems like you can. I just returned from doing a small shop at woolworths, and now this one (which I activated an hour ago) and my other points deals are listed on the docket

      • Great thanks. I activated them. Hopefully they all remain active though.

    • I wondered the same thing!

      • +2

Definitely stacks. Just did my shop and all 3 offers I have activated were rewarded.
        $30 bonus for 1 shop.

        • Thanks!

  • Easy 6000pts for me, thanks OP.

Shopping for a family of 3 easily gets me $100 each shop.

  • +2

    Thanks OP.

Second week will overlap the standard 10% off weekend shop

  • thank you so much you rock

  • If I have spent $30 in first week but $10 in rewards gets taken out have I still made the qualifying spend?

    • +2

Yes - I regularly pay with points & get the points added in this offer.
      Should show on receipt.

  • Fantastic, thank you

  • +2

Cheers OP, will have a crack.
On a side note: I was away for the weekend in a country town and shopped at Woolies, when I paid the cashier he said he swiped "his card" for me and gave me a bonus 1000pts for nothing. Never happened to me before. I want to move there now!

    • So he committed fraud

      • He said he was allowed to randomly swipe his card.

        • +1

          So random

          • @John Kimble: Yeah I have never heard of this, thought someone on here might know something about it. Either way my points are on my card so all good.

            • +1

@nepalesesquirrel: How does swooping his card give you points? Are you sure he didn't get the points?

              • @ihbh: He didn't "swoop" he swiped.
He was a manager or something, anyway I got 1250 pts from $50 spend, I guess I got 5×50pts + bonus 1000 from the cashiers "swoop.

    • +4

That's actually a great way to increase staff morale, staff get to reward customers who have been nice to them or who they think may need a little pick-me-up for the day. The act of giving and being able to decide who to give to helps promote a warm fuzzy feeling for the staff member.

I wonder how often it's done.

    • I have herd of this staff can do it 1x or so many times a day never happened but happened a friend of mine.

    • +1

About 2 months ago "gesture of goodwill" cards were issued to stores (inc. BWS). A team member can scan this card after a customer scans their rewards card to load 1000 bonus points into their rewards account. Each store can issue these bonus points up to 10 occasions per month.

  • Nice thanks!

  • Thank you.

  • +2

So I activated this amazing deal (thanks OP) and then the x3 Woolworths Rewards points listed here as well - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/521934. I noticed I can't see them activated on my Woolworths Rewards account though, like they do with Flybuys. Is this normal? I guess it was applied to my account ok

    • +1

Will show on receipt after purchase.

      • Oh thanks heaps. Takes longer to get Woolies points than Flybuys, for me at least. So these boosters should definitely help. Thanks!

    • +1

Did you check using the Woolworths app? The website doesn't show.

Otherwise, you can try activating again and it will say it's already been activated.

  • Are woolworths points and flybuys points of equivalent value?

    • Yes 2000 points = $10 on both systems

      • +1

Thanks. Seems harder to collect woolies points. Thought they might be worth more because of it.

    • same

  • Thanks OP!

  • Thanks OP.

Question related to the promos where you have to unlock the offer for the next week:

I just finished a 4 week spend promo for 6000 points and spent the required amount in the corresponding week. However it is showing up in the Woolworths App that I didn't meet my spend in week 3 because my total was under the minimum spend of $50 due to items being out of stock and the meat variable weight refund.

Does anyone have experience in contacting Woolworths rewards to get them to award the bonus points for instances such as these?

    • +1

That sucks. Sounds like you would've qualified if it wasn't for the refunds. I guess you could email Woolworths or post on their Facebook page and explain what happened, mention you're a loyal customer and are disappointed and they may honour it.

      • +1

I'll follow it up soon because in this case it's worth the effort.

I haven't had any problems with receiving points from when the bonuses are awarded instantly (rather than after a weekly spend period) and there's been out of stock items or a variable meat refund.

    • +4

Happens to me all the time. I now try to add another $10 worth of products to be on the safe side.

BUT, you can also call their customer support line and they will qualify you for the challenge manually. I have done that in the past a few times. No problem at all. Just remember to write down the persons name you are talking to.

      • +1

I actually had over $30 of items out of stock! I went on chat and they honoured the bonus points right away. They will be converted into points by tomorrow.
