Anyone got any tips on the different flavors, or alterations to try in the airfryer? I just did some potato gems with smoked pepper, garlic powder and grated parmesan in the airfryer and they were unbelievable as a side.
Mitani chicken salt is a winner for us, tbh.

I chuck it on after it's fried, the oil that's inherently on the product already means it'll stick.
Beer battered chips are good, Supercrunch has worked out nicely for me as well.

I really like mine. My housemate had one, and by the time I moved out after a year of enjoying it, I knew I was going to use it. Everyone who comes over is wowed at how good the hot chips are. I find the crumbed fish in the frozen section also cooks really well.
It's honestly a winner for me. Recently I've been doing pickle juice soaked chicken coated in fry chicken powder - so good! :O
@capslock janitor: I have a Philips XL, the one with the screen on it. I don't think they sell my specific model anymore, as there is only the model below (which has the dial only) and the model above (which has the dial and the screen).
As long as it reaches temperature and circulates well, it's not really a big deal which tier model you buy. Sizing may be a concern - honestly the XL is just right for one or two people, but any more and you should consider the XXL. If you are buying homebrand like the Kmart one, then I think that only comes in one size which you may find a bit small - that might be good for portion control though!
For reference, a Christmas turducken will fit in the XL (ask me how I know :V), as would a small roasting chicken, but a full size roasting chicken would likely need the XXL.
In my experience, the beer batter chips crisp up the best in the air fryer. Ive tried them all but we always come back to the beer batter. Try some vegeta sprinkled on top for seasoning. Life changing
