Been looking for some t shirts for work and found these on the Kmart website. They're available in store as well. Just grabbed 5 for myself. 4 different colours and 8 different sizes are available

but…
$0 C&C for over $20
Thought about it, but for the extra 25c, I'll go into my local kmart and try some on. Never knew they had Tees for $4.
Edit: Eek.
I'm pretty sure that is the rrp.
No it wasn't. Anyways I thought I'd share it cause if you work in hospitality you wouldn't wanna spend a lot of money on work t shirts and stuff. This deal isn't for everyone I guess
That is exactly what I used these shirts for, when I was a bar back.
Everyday price. Bought heaps last year
Surely they can't be any good for $3.75…. Or are they?
You'd be surprised
They look great until you wash them 3-4 times. They quickly deteriorate.
I reckon they’re line-drys.
Dryers get them pilling and fuzzy like Fozzy
Nope, I line dried them.
Even used a gentle cycle.
Didn't really help.
Although, if you were gonna purchase I recommend getting a size up - they shrink a size within a week or two.
Strange, mine look fine after over a year of use. Some I've had for over 2 year. These are my daily shirts.
The Australian cotton shirts for $10 hold their Shape. These $3 one don't. After a couple of wears and washes they go from a go out shirt to a work, workout and around the house shirt.
Still $3 to look sharp and fresh isn't bad.
@stickymoo: I squat in these. I go through 3-4 shirts a year, until the shoulder/upper back all ripped. Apart from that, they are fine, keeping their shape very well.
@stickymoo: These are what I wear, https://www.kmart.com.au/product/mens-larger-size-basic-shor… , which I believe are the same as the $4 basic ones, just larger.
No problems with holding their shape for me.
Some of my Kmart tees were a bit colour faded from using them pretty much daily (mostly for gym) over two years. But for $3.75, I can't really complain.
Buy size extra large and after a couple of washes they become size large
I bought the black and white versions of this tshirt for my husband yesterday - seems good quality for the price. Not yet washed/worn so cannot comment further.
I was surprised to also find a ladies tshirt for the grand sum of $2.75.
BigW have near identical tees for $4. Main diff is they are a little shorter (K-mart’s are tuck-ins, BigW’s are not). BigW sizes fit a little smaller than the Kmart equivalent.
Crew and v-neck available both stores at same price.
It's their everyday price.
$3.75 is good for a kids mufti day, mud challenge etc.
For a daily shirt, get something that'll last a bit longer.
Had this as an undershirt/pyjama shirt and within 2 weeks it was already deteriorating (fading/shrinking).
Pay the extra 25 cents for a Big W shirt that might last a bit longer.I’m willing to bet they’re manufactured on the same line.
That might be so. I haven't exactly tried the Big W one to compare it to. Maybe someone could chime in there. I'm just here to advise people not to get the Kmart one based on personal experience.
I’ve got both. They’re the same.
@0jay: Hey how do you find the arm length on either of these - do they cutoff about midway down the bicep?
@redpen: Sleeve’s to the top of the bicep but I prefer a close fit. If you like a loose fit you might find the sleeve midway down.
A medium size in the BigW and small in the Kmart are about the same on me, the Kmart is quite a bit longer and tuckable even in the small whereas the BigW M is not.
I prefer the V-neck, crew style might be a little different.
Normal price. Was $4.
Bought this one and the more premium cotton one for $8.Better quality but not for double the price.
Have heaps of the cheaper ones and surprisingly good quality.
