I have been asked by a friend to recommend a new laptop for around $1000. As I haven't really kept up with the technology for a while, I'd be interested in any recommendations, but also links to websites that allow you to search for a particular Make/Model and then check it's benchmark score. If you are able to help with either, then I'd be really interested in your expertise.
