It's been a while since Optus has offered anything substantial (e.g. 15% - 25% off) their SIM plans.
In fact, in recent days, their prepaid plans seem to be better value.
Are Optus not interested in postpaid SIM anymore?

You should probably be asking this question to Optus, not OzBargain.
There’s 20% off for people in regional areas running at the moment.
I am hanging out for the return of that $45 sim only plan from around July last year, but deep down, I know its never returning! Haha. I got my brother in law onto it but I had about 8 months left on my own plan so didn't jump.
It was awesome. From memory, $45 got you 80GB data, Unlimited calls/text nationally & internationally and 4GB international roaming data each month. So good!
I got this post paid sim plan. Except i got it at $40. Even used the roaming data and had no issues, such a good deal!
Beat you too it.
I pay $30 for 80gb data, unlimited calls/text nationally & internationally and 4GB international roaming data each month. Winning!
That might almost tempt me away from Aldi Mobile. And I might be able to ditch my NBN home internet as well.

so good, i have two of them $80 a month spend total for me and the wife.
Nothing they've announced since has been anywhere near as good
Yea this plan is fantastic, particularly the roaming data (and calls!). I really hope that becomes the norm with other providers too
I'm currently on $40/80GB a month.
With the regional 20% off discount, I can get 100GB/$47.20 a month - not sure if I'll 'upgrade' to that though.
