Is this HP replacement good value?

Hi,

I ordered this Ozbargain deal:

HP Pavilion 13 i5-8265U 1080p 13.3" Screen 8GB RAM 256GB SSD $719.20 Including 1 Year Accidental Damage Protection

but 2 weeks later HP have said it's not available and have offered this instead (at same price) HP Pavilion x360 - 14-
dh1053tu 8LX91PA.

A quick Google and it seems to get pretty bad reviews but just wondering what people think? One of the main reasons my wife wanted the original machine was the 13" screen (I'm trying to wean her off Macs!) and wondering if this is just going to seem to big for her given that she takes her laptop everywhere.

    On the face of it it seems like a bit of an upgrade, but is larger in size and might be heavier.

    Depends on your use case I guess also. The tablet mode and touch screen might be nice.
