Tx is okay, ideally a rmx model is alot better

    • Of course, but that is at least $50 more.

For most users Tx series are plenty.

      • Yeah, although EVGA G2, G3 are alot cheaper and on par with the rmx series

Right ok post a deal for one of them then.

    • I have a RM650i with PSU efficiency curve monitoring. Exploded last week. Just over 2 years.

      • Was it just psu blown? could be a power board or a surge.

        • It sounded like something inside exploded. That loudness scared the sh1t out of me who was focusing on online games. After uninstalled it from the case, I could hear the noise of the debris when shaking the PSU with my hands. My best guess is one of the capacitors blown and exploded. Anyway, returned and fully refunded. This thing has 10 years warranty.

    $158.78 now, Amazon is smart

    • bait and switch

      • You'd need to actually advertise a sale for this to be bait and switch. Something Amazon don't really do much of, and certainly didn't here.

        • 'the action (generally illegal) of advertising goods which are an apparent bargain, with the intention of substituting inferior or more expensive goods.'

          • @petry: Yeah, once again… Amazon didn't advertise anything. They lowered the price silently (as they always do), and it was posted externally here. That's not an advertisement. Their whole stock system is automated. Once stock runs out from one shipment, the price automatically changes to adjust for the difference in wholesale price for the new shipment. They do this in real-time everyday for every item they stock themselves.

If Amazon advertised this in a catalogue, or an email; then you'd be correct in calling this a bait and switch; but they rarely do that and definitely didn't here.

            • @BradH13: garbage

search engines of which there are thousands routinely scrape sites and amazon use this all the time now to advertise through them -they even design their site to allow certain engines to do this every hour…

              • @petry: Whatever dude. I assure you, the law doesn't consider price consolidation engines "advertising".

                • @BradH13: when was that tested?

especially when the vendor has direct links to the advertiser?

  • Good reviews for this model.

  • Has dropped down again to a similar price with 4 left in stock. $128.04 currently.
