Help! Lost my Optus MyTab

And I not fear it may be stolen, but the thing is, the tab is still ringing when I try and call it. Anyone know if there's a way to track it via its GPS? Kinda like they do it with the iPad? Unfortunately I never did download any software that does that, or anything of that sort.. I was meaning to though. :( So does anyone who maybe works at Optus or ZTE or who knows anything of this sort have any suggestions for me? I know it's just $99 bucks, but.. I'm an OzBargainer. That's like 99 other bargains I just lost. :S

    This is where apps like "Where's My Droid" comes in handy. Perhaps you can try remotely installing the Plan B app by signing into your Google account and then following the instructions on the site.

    This only works of course, if your tablet is on, has GPS connectivity, and is able to download data (i.e. has 3G reception)

      This.

      Provided you have already activated your tablet with your Google account, you should be able to go into Android Market and remote install those applications to help you find your tablet.

    Should be pretty easy to locate…CSI and NCIS do it all the time in nearly every episode. ;)

    Takes a little bit of work but it's not that hard to triangulate the signal…

    You didn't get this from me either…

    Not sure if optus would do it for something so minor though (no offence, sorry)

    If you are like me Ranma you have put it down somewhere and forgot where?
    Have you had a good look around when it is ringing?? … in your car, may have slid under the seat or be in the boot??.. fell down behind a lounge at a friends place??

    I find my phone in the strangest places when i call it … ?? places I have never been… i think?? :-)

      I'm guessing he can ring it but can't hear it ringing… ie can only hear that it's ringing through the phone he's calling from - instead of a failed call)

        I understand that but if he was in the house and the tab was in the car in the garage or at his friends house he would not hear it.

    it not stolen if you can call anyone who stolen something would be guilty if they heard the ring so they would of taken out the sim
