  • Pretty good fans, they can be added to the SmartLife/Tuya app and be controlled by Alexa and are pretty quiet.

  • Saw plenty of stock at Brandon Park today

    • hmmm interesting.
Saw it on special last week (I think) at my local Kmart but didn't get it because I was pretty adamant on having my next fan being a DC one as they sounded like being reliably more quiet.

i bought 40cm high velocity floor fan for $29 from my local (Firle SA) today if anyone's interested. All their other types of fans on clearance too.

    No. Not DC motored.

  • Going by the manual, when you use the remote to turn it on it always starts at speed #5. Dealbreaker for me. https://www.kmart.com.au/wcsstore/Kmart/pdfs/42779896_Manual…

I guess Kmart's gonna release a new DC motored model to replace this.

Have this fan and it is good for the price. It's pretty quiet, especially on the lower settings (1-4), and moves a decent amount of air.

Removed from site, but some details via this link.

  • Scanning at $69 Kmart Wanneroo

  • It's a fan, and it functions as advertised.

On the other hand its build quality makes my recent Kogan DC fan look like a high end device. Screen doesn't turn off, the wifi light blinks CONSTANTLY until you pair it … instead its received the masking tape treatment. Doesn't even preserve the mode it was in.

I'm almost considering returning it, but its enough of an upgrade over the $10 burnings fan in this room that it'll stay for now.

    • It just keeps blinking, who designed this … I guess no one.
