I’m in the market for a vivoactive 4s but i’ll be holding off for a better deal.

What do you want from the watch? Much more focus on fitness and tracking, or more on the smartwatch side of things?

How much fitness? And what apps do you use currently to track fitness. Do you swim?
Not a great deal. I got mine in the last Rebel 20% off sale (plus CR cashback) for $420 all up. Great watch.
Not sure if I should look at the Vivoactive 4/Venu or the Forerunner 245 Music. They all have Bluetooth and off-line music capabilities needed for running/Endomondo (no other sport tracking required). As much as I like the latest and greatest, the FR 945 is way too steep in pricing and a better investment for triathletes. Wonder what Garmin will bring out in Q2 2020?
