Thanks/credit to l005e for commenting on their experience on the previous S10e deal. Seems cheaper than the student deal online.

I went into the Samsung pop up store in Penrith. Standard S10e price is $799, AND I ASKED them to check. (Caps lock because at first they said no way!) Their store manager checked and yes, so long as I was willing to sit down for a 10 minute diagnostic on my S8. Result is an S10e for $599. No exchange required so I'll be selling my S8 shortly! Go for it!

2 year warranty, but single SIM Exynos as it's official Samsung stock.

    Just got one from Chadstone. They only had white and green left.

    I asked if many people had come for the deal, the guy said "Yeah, we did as soon as it went up on Ozbargain" LOL!

    Thank you OP. Took in an S5 I had sitting in a drawer not working (charger port) for the last 2 years. Waited the standard 20-30 mins for service at Samsung Chermside. They just noted the serial number of the phone (probably so it can't be credited for another discount?) - didn't check if it worked or wanted to keep it. i suppose this could be my last ever phone with a headphone jack :(

    Does anyone know whether Carindale in QLD have much stock and whether they are honouring this? There is no phone number to ring them and I rang the 1300 Samsung number and they said no, no way to contact them. I can't get up there probably in the next week so wonder when this promo is going to and whether they are even going to honour it.

    Went into store today (Highpoint) and was told the deal had ended yesterday. Was only a monthly deal running throughout Feb.

    The Chadstone Samsung kiosk staff member I spoke to told me this afternoon the deal is over. So I'll wait until it's on again or until they offer a good deal for the remaining S10 stock.

        Around 9:10am today. Just asked if they had any special price for the S10e, said yes. Confirmed it was 599 and just needed ID and IMEI from my Note 8.

    Not used mine yet (case only arrived yesterday!), as still not found a way to remove facebook! Considering returning it to samsung to remove it or refund me, I'd never have chosen to buy any handset that unlocked prevents you from uninstalling optional apps!

    unless someone in the Penrith area missed out and wants to buy it!

        Thanks, removal definitely. Do I need to root it to do that, or install special software on my pc? I don't want to void warranty or do something that'd stop the kids playing geogames on it that don't allow root.

        Just annoying, shouldn't have to do this for a brand new flagship. Wonder how many millions Samsung got from FB for making it uninstallable! Just another reason I don't FB!

          I haven't done this in a while but don't think you need to root it to do this.
          You will need to enable developer options and install drivers and ADB on your pc to do it.

            @[Deactivated]: Thanks, hopefully it will remove them and not just disable them. I didn't realise but there are 4 facebook app components, 3 are hidden and gather data even if they are never signed into? what the actual ?!?!?!

              @seraphim2017: Yeah, apps like that have no place in the firmware. Good luck with your new phone, hopefully you can improve it by removing all that fb spyware.

    So I went in today at Melbourne Central store around 10.30 am because my S7 is dead hoping for a repair.

    The staff (I think his name is Kevin) offered me to reflash the S7 for free because seems like software failure and while doing that he asked me about upgrading my phone. So I mentioned that I missed the deal running last month and was supposed to upgrade to s10e because of that deal.

    Then he mentioned that he will check behind the counter because there's a few s10e left supposedly (only white) and he'll be right back to confirm about the deal. He went back with the sad news that the S7 is officially bricked, but the good news is he could manually key in the s10e at his counter for $599.

    Not sure how long the deal was because someone above mentioned that they don't have the deal anymore at Melbourne central, maybe it's because my phone is dead? not sure. He did mentioned that Melbourne Central has a few of the stock left Australia-wide.

    TL:DR: Went to Melbourne central today to get my s7 fixed, officially dead but ended up with the s10e deal !

          a family member went in on the 12-3-20, they had no s10e's left but he got the $200 off an S20 instead, which made it $200 cheaper than all the retailers were selling it for
