Currently looking for the base model of the MacBook Pro. The cheapest i can find is $1799 at Umart. I hope i can price beat at JBHIFI and use the 5% discount gift card which brings it around $1709.
Is there any site or place that sells it cheaper than $1799?

Fair enough. Just check it's the same current model that Umart sells. When my friend was looking at Macbook air prices, she found that the other retailers were selling older versions of the macbook air, ie. not the current one sold by apple.
You can sell the beats. Then your net price is $1811 - $X.
Yea i bought the one in @tdrive comment and planning to sell the headphones around $300. End up with $1755 (+1.5% cashback) - $300 . great deal IMO.
Might be worth maybe seeing if Apple Australia store has any refurbished models? They’re usually a little bit cheaper, and there might be something that’s fairly current.
I guess one thing I would say is that the base model, I think, might only have a 128 GB SSD, which I’ve found to be too small, and very irritatingly it cannot be replaced aftermarket.

There is the student discount. Someone I know (not a student) ordered a macbook air online through apple with a student discount (cheaper and came with beats) - all you do is tick a box that you are a student, it doesn't ask for ID and then picked it up at the apple store, and again was not asked for ID.
Just an option if you are feeling brave LOL!! Not sure if the student deal is still on.
