  I'd wait on persona 5 even at that price
  The royal edition is out in a month or so.

  Such an awesome game as a persona newbie.
  Loved every minute of it.

  Oh but buy nier of course

  And yakuza 0 is a must

    Royal is going to be ~$70 on release. it also doesn't change THAT much

    I'd still recommend getting regular P5, and then picking up Royal if you get the itch to playthrough again in a year or two

      You can now grapple hook and save some pain and sanity if you wish.

    With how unique it is as a whole, I'd consider all 3 'playthroughs' to simply be playing the game once. What a fantastic game!

  In case anyone wants a physical copy of Nier GOTY, it's $33.99 + shipping at the moment, at Ozgameshop. It WAS on sale for 26.99 at the start of February.

  Last time I bought something from them, they only charged me $1.99 for shipping.

  If you haven’t played this game before I’d recommend watching a YouTube video. I absolutely hated this game and I love the manga aesthetic.

      It's the first Platinum game I actually liked. Their games are usually pretty generic, but the storytelling here was next level.

  I have to admit that I didn't love this game as much as a lot of people seemed to. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it. I went through 3 times to get the "proper" ending (plus several of the other little optional endings along the way). Hard to put my finger on why, since it's the kind of game I would usually like. Maybe it's just that by the time I'd gone through 3 times it felt like it had outstayed its welcome a bit and felt like a bit of a trudge.
