    Mine came with 2.2 and now running 2.3.3.

      i'm pretty sure they come with 2.2 first
      the very first shipment was with 2.1
      and you can update with kies to 2.3.3

      S+ is just a bit faster than the original and actually has a weaker graphics chipset. also no super AMOLED (SLCD instead). also that only has 8gb memory.

      not to mention for around $500 second hand you can easily get an SGS2.

        It says it has S AMOLED, Screen Technology Super AMOLED

        But yes, 8gb internal + a small boost of cpu speed isn't worth $100 extra, when you can pay a little more and get a dual core S2.

        Also, you can just overclock the i9000 to 1.4ghz
