How does this seem dodgy? Even ACN is provided which is better than ABN.
I get that you’re trying to be helpful, but just dumping a Whois registry irks me.
Companies use a plethora of agencies and partners for all sorts of work. FWIW not entirely uncommon for someone seemingly random to have registered the domain.

It’s not a scam. It’s definitely a legitimate promotion we are running. We haven’t publicised it yet as we are still waiting on one state to come back with a finalised permit.

sounds like a scam to me to collect contact details. This official website is here https://www.giant-bicycles.com/au/bikes . Yet, when you click the home page of the contest it routes it to it but the contest is based at https://mygiant.com.au/competitions/giant-enter-to-win-2020-… … when you enter https://mygiant.com.au/ it routes to https://www.giant-bicycles.com/au/bikes .
