1-Day - Who gives a crap sale!

31

What are we talking about I hear you ask? For those who missed the previous Continuous Crap and The Crap Strikes Back sales, it's simple. For the next 24 hours we'll provide a continuous supply of products at ridiculously low prices!

Here's how it works … We'll show you three products at a time, just like any other normal 1-day day, however, these products will be super cheap, and instead of getting the old SOLD OUT sign when a product has gone, we'll replace it with anotherproduct with a super low price tag. No sold out signs, no waiting till noon the next day for three new products, just a continuous stream of great value products!

  • this is like COTD

  • i think this site is generally better than COTD and zazz with their items (for me anyway).

The items are posted from NZ but postage is only $8 and it is QUICK.

  • What's with the pop-up advertising and browser hijacking?
I'm inclined to vote against it just for those…

    • Experience the same here. Don't like it at all. As online shopping site, it should at least try to project safe shopping experience. But this one does exactly the opposite. I would not trust this site with my details.

    • Yes got the dodgy site blocked by Google as well under Firefox 3.

It could be dodgy ad provider. However by looking at its HTML source the only ads are served from their own OpenX server (i.e. they themselves might have resold the ad space to some dodgy 3rd party). Definitely not a good impression for ecommerce sites.

  • relax guys, this site is legit. they are operated by the parent site Torpedo7 http://www.torpedo7.com.au/

they are a pretty big adventure / outdoor equipment company.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way, i've just bought quite a few things without any trouble and their items are of good quality - unlike some crap that dailydeals, etc sometime sell.

    • Thanks stonedewok. I know who these guys are and have written a short profile on them on my blog June last year, and I know they have been offering high quality goods (although sometimes very low quantity). However I am just saying redirection to blocked site is really weird, and the only thing that can be blamed is probably the ads served from their own OpenX server — so they probably have sold the ad space to someone dodgy…

  • I've bought something from them in the past without hassles. I visit the site every few days to check out the deals - I've got adblock running though, so probably didn't notice all the ads.
