Just a warning if you use Shopback to check prices directly with the retailer as well as via Shopback, as I've found the original price to be different in the case of Booking.com.
Specifically, I went to make a booking through Booking.com and the accommodation was 14% more expensive through the Shopback link than directly through Booking.com. So even with the Shopback discount I would have been worse off booking through Shopback. Exactly the same dates and room.
I complained to Shopback and they agreed this was the case. This was their response:
'After checking, I can see that indeed it appears to be a difference in the price.
I understand that this is not an ideal situation and you should know that ShopBack is not involved and has no control on the pricing customers see on the brands page.
This being the case, it is not something we can look into further. Prices shown on a brands site are dictated by the brand.
We would advise you to review prices accordingly and decide which options would be best for you taking into account the cashback that would be earned from ShopBack as well'
Hope that helps others to make sure they are truly getting a discount. I certainly think it's disappointing and misleading Shopback users.
Claim the Shopback then claim the Price Match if you can be bothered:

They have an exception:
But you could argue that Booking.com itself is not "a partner provider on Booking.com" (though I'm not entirely sure what a partner provider is). That said most people don't bother with price matches because of the hassle.
