Chemist Warehouse Fragrance Price Increase

I was browsing through some fragrances this morning and noticed that most of the fragrances have increased by $10-20 dollars. Doesn't feel like the cheapest place to buy fragrances anymore.

Any store recommendations for cheap fragrances, online or in-store?

  • Probably having issues sourcing stock atm.

I ordered some electronic items from HK. They arrived in Perth on 12/03, and have a projected delivery date of 27/02 to a Perth address 2KM's from their airport distro point.

Idiots are seemingly quarantining imports for 2 weeks. Viruses won't survive outside a host on a hard surface on its own for more than a ~day. Holding shipments for 2 weeks is misguided.

    • +1

“The review found that on average, coronaviruses can live on surfaces for between four and five days, but some could survive for up to nine days outside of the body at room temperature.”

      • Then they should consider disinfecting shipments and get them moving. Grinding trade to a halt globally isn't going to make a whole lot of difference. Sitting on them for 14 days is well outside of any study data.

No doubt there may be a risk (however small), but it's management needs to be measured.

        • are you expect whom to pay for the disinfecting?

    • Årrived on 12/03 you get delivery date of 27/02

What are you comlaining about - its delivered before it arrives. 😀

    Chemist Warehouse Fragrance Price Increase

Dollar is going down, meaning COG increased

China is still largely in a shutdown state, so future supplies will be delayed. So increase price reduces demand so they don't run out of stock.

and well because they can. Wages go up each year, so do COG, so that means so does the sell price.

Doesn't feel like the cheapest place to buy fragrances anymore.

I see no gun to your head, go buy from a place that 'feels' cheaper instead.

      Makes sense. Cheers.
