Isn't that the cynic's (or communist's) description of any business?

But seriously, given what I get from most businesses for my hard earned money I feel they are all screwing the customer.

    • +5

Not sure if your hate has blinded you, developer/publishers get more profit from game sales from epic than steam.

  • Is the recurring coupon promotion no longer active?

    • +1

I don't think do but many people will still have one coupon in their account from last sale and that can be used. You just won't get a new one for every purchase abobe 14.99.

      • -3

Ah yup, bit cheeky that they had an unlisted end date for the promotion while clearly stating the expiry for the vouchers. Oh well!

        • +3

End date for the automatic extra coupon promotion was the end of the holiday sale. Pretty sure it was mentioned there in a few spots as I definitely understood how it worked at the time.

          Edit: found it

Use the $10 Epic Coupon to buy an eligible game of $14.99 or more on the store (during the promotional period) and you’ll receive another $10 Epic Coupon. Note: Coupons expire on May 1, 2020 2:59am EST.

HOW DO I RECEIVE ADDITIONAL $10 EPIC COUPONS DURING ENCORE WEEK?
Every time you use a $10 Epic Coupon on any game $14.99 and above during the Encore Week you will receive an additional $10 Epic Coupon.

HOW LONG DOES ENCORE WEEK LAST?
The promotion ends January 7, 2019 at 11am EST. After that time, you will not be able to receive a $10 Epic Coupon for the Encore Week, but you will be able to use a previously-received Epic Coupon until its expiration date.

  • Anyone tried Jon Wick Hex yet? I am thinking of getting it.

Manifold Garden looks a lot like NaissanceE (which I liked as an artpiece) and Kairo (which I hated). If it wasn't for my massive backlog I'd probably use my voucher here.

Also, Both Satisfactory and Outer Wilds are in my top 10 greatest games of all time - if I didn't already have them then they'd be instant buys, and I'll recommend them to anyone who'll listen.

  • +1

I think Outer Wilds is on sale as well. A++++++ Outer Wilds is amazing. Not to be confused with The Outer Worlds.

Probably the best thought out game I have played in the last decade.
