In terms of how much I enjoyed it? I'd rate it below the Talisker 10, but above a Highland Park 12 and a Dalwhinnie 15. Somewhere around a Glenmorangie 10 or an Aberlour 12 Double Cask.
For reference, Dalwhinnie 15 is $84.95. I've never tried Spey River 12 myself but it sounds like a bargain to me.

the first 2 reviews in your link are not very good.
I wouldn't trust Dan's reviews, I still think it's worth the risk at this price. Although yeah it's not amazingly reviewed by anyone out there the one I quoted is a novice. I couldn't find an in depth review.
i wouldnt say this one is better than dalwhinnie esp if you havent tried dalwhinnie lol. Personally i would say not better than dalwhinnie

I prefer Dalwhinnie (which you can get for $70 a bottle on special however its been much more expensive recently due to its popularity I would guess)

Highland Park 12 is also $86 at Dans, so at 53% price increase, it should be better.
