    Why not just open this account and deposit $1K (to avoid monthly fee) then just close the account after you have gotten the tickets or at the end of the month?

      Planned for tickets to one of these events to be a last minute Valentine's gift - the debit card wouldn't arrive in time sadly.

      Tried that as well. But all the google images have the number on Bank of Melbourne cards as 1234 1234 etc..

        There's only 100 numbers to go through being 00 to 99 … If you really want that discount code and no one else will tell you the first six digits of their Bank of Melbourne card, that's your only option. I'd tell you mine, but I'm with Westpac …

            @kusama: What a great site. I tried a couple numbers from there, with no luck.

            But that site inspired me to search "Bank of Melbourne" "BIN". Lo and behold I came up with the number 423953 which worked!
