  • Wtf Costco? Why Melbourne only?

    • I can’t find anything to say Melbourne only. I added stuff to my cart and put my Brisbane address in with no issues.

      • Sorry, I found out via Facebook and someone said Melbourne only.

I’ll remove it from description :-)

    It's not Melbourne only

  • Can anyone find reviews on this?

Can’t wait for Perth opening in March :)

  • This one doesn't have a GPS which means it can't record speed. At this price point why not a viofo with dual Cameras ?

Great it's stealth. Great it's got capacitor comes from Costco and 64 gig card. But if you have to dispute an incident. Speed is a very important detail.

If this had GPS I was sold. Alas another time.

    • it does have GPS, https://www.navman.com.au/mivue-stealth. That being said, I do not think the speed indicated on the dashcam recording can be used in an accident dispute.

      • Thanks. Not sure why I saw the details and didn't show GPS.

How are you sure that a dashcam video with speed tag is not admissible in court or acceptable by insurance. I am told otherwise by a friend who had an incident before.

        • What I mean to say is that the speed indicated by the GPS will not add any value to what is recorded by the dahcam.
The accuracy of the speed recorded by your dashcam GPS at that point of time cannot be verified. Compare this against the LIDAR used by police which has far greater accuracy than GPS and the devices are calibrated and certified on a regular basis.
