So the discount is more the fact they don't include the buds?
Most EPP's will range from about 10-20% tops. You may see deeper discounts like 30% perhaps a bit after release.
It may be better value to see if someone is selling their 50% code, as that would make it much cheaper even after factoring in the cost of the code.
In my experience, the gov one is always on the lower side (which is currently 15%). Hence the question to see if any other EPPs are offering better.
What price are you getting for the Galaxy S20+ (4G) - $1,199.20 via Govt EPP?
Government EPP price for the S20+ is currently $1,274.15 - Save $225.00 (Was $1,499.00).
S10+ is currently out of stock but prices have all gone up since the S20 released, and is listed as $ 1,104.15 - Save $195.00 (Was $1,299.00). I should have bought it last week :(

Serious question: what is a 50% epp code? How is it different from just logging in to your epp website and purchasing at the listed price?
Samsung and telco staff pricing 50% off
As Jaysmud mentioned the 50% epp codes are available to samsung and telco staff, but most staff do not realise they are eligible or even care to use them. I helped some people obtain them over OzB a few months back but they were a bit hard to get hold of as they are limited to one per employee. Either way the 50% codes would be the best way to get a solid discount on the S20 range at release if they did them again even factoring the cost of the code.
Might be worth keeping an eye on OzB classifieds over the next few weeks or so.
are you able to tell me how to find it from optus? got a mate looking for me but he cant find it anyway
updating what i have found. its quite a process if you are at a telco (or have found a friend there willing to buy it for you at 50% off).
only 128gb version seem to qualify and looks like shipment date is 06 Apr for the ultra. from what i can see, no bundled items (no buds or wireless battery pack)process:
1. set up a samsung account. can be in your own personal email and name.
2. go to your EPP website e.g. for optus https://shop.samsung.com/au/multistore/auepp/optus_au/login/… and register with your corporate email
2b. click on verification link
3. click on the quiz link and register for samsung plus using your corporate email and your corporate affiliation code
3b click on verification email
4. do the quiz in samsung plus. get 90% or more to pass
5. wait 1 week. codes get sent out every monday i believe
6. go into the epp site and do the preorder with the voucher code@quasi: Should also mention it's strictly 1 per person, and each code is tracked and linked to a staff member to prevent people trying to claim multiple. My friend at Samsung told me of an intern who had joined just before the Note 10 came out and tried to abuse the system by finding a loophole that let him claim multiple times. It was all under his name and he was fired before the phone even got released…
@whattheshek: I've got a friend at Optus who's trying to get the corporate affiliation code to register for Samsung + but doesn't know where to find it.He has access to the intranet and everything.He's asked around but nobody seems to know at his office.

You could be able to find some soon. People would probably have some unwanted codes for sale on the classifieds again.
People sell the codes, they don’t give them out.
Read some sell for $500 (for a $2000 phone)
Turned pop up blocker off etc but still can't get the $50 newsletter offer to pop up on epp. Sigh

We can't get the pop up at all even with all ad blockers off. It would be much appreciated cheersI got the $50 coupon but there is nowhere I can find to apply it when checking out of the EPP. Tried chat help but that wouldn't work. Ughhh…Wasted hours for $50. Another day in the life if an ozbargainer.
