City of Adelaide is a proud supporter of the Adelaide Fringe, Australia’s highest ticketing multi-arts festival as well as the second-largest Fringe in the world. The Adelaide Fringe came to life in 1960 and four years later had grown its showcase to include 52 art exhibitions, collections and performances. Fast forward to present day, the festival now boasts over 1200 events throughout February and March! Venues big and small, pop-up and permanent come to life with imagination-sparking performances.
