Finding Players for Online Board Game - Spam?

[PC] Epic - Free - Carcassonne + Ticket to Ride + Pandemic (Removed) - Epic Store - OzBargain is still valid for the next day. Besides posting in the deal comments what else can I do?

Aim: Any time of the day find someone to play who is also willing to voice chat/video chat within 5 minutes. Form a social group.

I was thinking of also going to message everyone who voted yes for that deal and introducing myself and my social club.

Secondly also going to https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/tickettoride/ and commenting/messaging on every as many as 124792 posts as possible. However only posting once per unique instagram account.

But I'm wary of being accused of spamming. What can I do to stop that accusation?

    You could maybe leave everyone alone and not spam?

      Yes but they're most likely interested in getting a digital edition of Ticket To Ride for free as they hashtagged #tickettoride. They might not know about it. Also since they posted about it they're likely ok with fellow players asking for games. So for most if not many it's not considered spam. If the people who consider it not spam outweigh the people who do then I will do it maybe unelss you give cogent arguments.

      If not the above how do you suggest I get in touch with willing and interested players? Discord and Facebook groups have been unsucessful so far.

      I've tried to do this with Upwords and had people thank me for letting them know about the game and it was freemium to boot.

    You realise there are numerous Facebook and Discord groups for this exact purpose?

        Search for one for the particular game you play. I don't play either on PC so can't help there.

          Like I said I've already members of a few but none of them work. So that's why I decided to roll my own.

      Just to add to this, OP, you could make a discord channel and post the link here and on the deal. That way you are not spamming people and people can opt in to playing those boardgames with other ozbargain members.

      You might not get many to join but at least you won't be spamming.
