Looking for Computer Monitor 24" or Larger

I'm looking for a quality brand monitor to buy (possibly going to buy 2 of these so I can run triple monitor setup).

At the moment I have a Samsung and my other Asus monitor just died on me (had it for approx 5 years, so I'm pretty happy). I really like the quality of Samsungs and wouldn't mind getting a couple more of these at all.

My only real request is that I'd like to get some large resolution (as large as possible). More specifically, I've been looking at the Dell U2410 because of it's 16:10 ratio. I would love it if I could get even higher resolution - does there even exist higher resolution than 16:10 in the 24" monitor size?

Alternatively, I've been contemplating upsizing to the Dell U2711. But damn this monitor is a bit pricy. It IS a 27" monitor I understand, and it does have amazing resolution (2560 x 1440) but for the current price on the Dell website, it's just a little impractical for me at this stage.

Does anyone have any suggestions for quality, high resolution monitors? If not, I'd be happy to go with 16:10 24" monitors and if not then I could settle for 16:9 provided it was a good quality monitor at a good price.

      Price range is around $300-500. Really just interested in options and good bargains at the moment and I'll eventually factor in price with my decision. Thanks for your help :)

        Thanks guys. Looks like I will be picking up one of these to test before I get another. I see now on the Dell site $399 but you did mention a motor club discount? Any idea where I can go to get more info on this? Are there any other retailers of this monitor at the moment with competitive prices?

      Thanks for your input. Does this have HDMI (quick search suggests no?) also what about mounting bracket support? I may eventually mount triple setup. Really appreciate your efforts.

        • 16x10 (1920x1200 resolution)
        • DVI port and DisplayPort (can use a converter to HDMI)
        • Standard VESA Mount bracket support
