Note: HDMI v1.3 cables can support all current formats used including fullHD-3D & ARC(Audio Return Channel).

The only feature 1.3 cables don't support is Ethernet over HDMI, which there are no devices with this feature yet.

  • Good deal considering the wire gauge and length. Cheapest by far. Thanks OP.

    • Pity they are in Hong Kong and would take up to a month to arrive, otherwise i would be keen as.

    • Most likely uses an extremely lowe wire gauge (AWG) though. There's a good chance of signal detoriation with a $5/5m HDMI Cable from Honk Kong though, it happened to me with a 10m

If anyone is looking for a cheaper/shorter cable I just bought this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-8m-HDMI-Cable-High-Speed-Hi-Def…

There's also one for $0.04 less if you want to be a true ozbargainer.

Edit: Also found some 1 meter cable for $1.89: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1M-HDMI-Cable-Full-HD-HDTV-PS3-xB…

Every time I add to cart and then go to checkout WITH my DSE login, the price changes to $25.72. Tried different browsers, same thing.

If I proceed to checkout 'as a new user', then the transaction goes through fine. DSE still gets a neg from me.

    • Why bother?life is too short even shorter than that 5m cable.have a good day.this cable not worth for the stress.

Save $40 yeah right. Just looks like any other sub $5 cable you get delivered from all the other HDMI cable deals.

  • I visited one of their stores this morning and believe it or not, the 5m cables are actually $49.xx.

Similar price in Target, whilst Kmart's 1.5m was still $20.

    • The only problem? nobody buy this cable for $49.highly inflated.

  • How the ****!

My supplier can send me one for $10…WITH a four week wait! I think I should join the rest of the world and upgrade from my VGA cable to HDMI since the graphics card and monitor both support it. Do these make much of a difference?

    Plus from me!

it makes a big difference from about 1280x720 up

  • hmm, Hard to say if i need it / if its worth it compared to the Ebay ones. Anyone know what the standard gauge is on 5m HDMI cables? IE the ebay ones?
