  • What exactly is a 'web extension'?

  • +1

I really don't understand the need for the web extension, just like in the book depository deal.

It just makes it more of a hassle and people don't have access to a computer as often as they do to a phone

    • +5

It also makes people who are on a computer and are also interested in the deal install the browser extension…. It's simply an advertising campaign to have more users install the extension

      • Spot on!! All about the marketing side of things.

Also, wouldn't surprise me if the extension mines any kind of data too.

    • They incentivize you to install the web extension so they can keep a closer eye on your shopping/browsing habits, possibly sell that information on or just use it for marketing.

  • Nice, dinner sorted for the next 3 nights.

    • 3 nights on a 10$ cap?

      edit: unlimited transactions?

      • Most likely he/she ordered enough to last 3 nights.

  • Expired? So Shopback killed the deal early? Great valentines gift SB lol
