Sub $50 Steam Iron

Hey ozbargainers,

Need to buy an iron since I have to wear business attire for my job. Any recommendations?

At this stage I was looking at the Sunbeam sr4400 for $39 at target and using the 15 off 50 voucher.

    I guess it may require constant attention, like don't leave it standing up too long may run dry, probably has no push for steam button or teflon coated base if you want all the bells and whistles buy a name brand 100 dollar item. Claim on tax you need it for work LOL

Get a proper iron and ironing board. You’ll waste more time with a shitty iron and $20 ironing board compared to forking out proper money for a $100 iron and $100 ironing board.

I went from a cheap Kmart iron and Kmart ironing board to a mid range Tefal iron a few years ago and that halved my ironing time. Now my ironing time has been halved yet again with a $300 iron and $150 ironing board.
