I've just got one - yes it does.
I had a Fitbit One (the clip on type) which was fine, but this has heart rate (which as far as I can tell seems to work ok). The watch face only lights up when you're using it or raise it to reading position (it senses the change in position). I find it quite comfortable and not too big. The watch face is 20x36mm and 9mm thick.
I use it with MyFitnessPal to track food which is a pain in the first few weeks, but once you've built up a library of foods it becomes much easier. If you tend to eat the same type of breakfasts you can just copy the whole meal from one day to today rather than enter each food one by one.

was $179 quite a while ago. it's recent price is $130 or lower.
Liverpool Myer still shows it has stock online: price beat at Officeworks by 5%.
Bugger out of stock, feel like these have been $99 multiple times since xmas but when you want one theres none on special
