Where to buy Herman Millers for cheaper in Victoria?

I'm looking to buy a herman miller embody and want to spend ~$1000. On reddit , i saw comments stating that herman miller dealers sell chairs at lower than RRP. Are there any here?

  • Don't know other dealers, but Living Edge the authorised seller have sales.

  • I don't think you'll ever buy a new Embody for AUD1000, even on sale.
Living Edge on occasion will have warehouse sale for ex-demo models, etc…
I think they have office furnitures on 15% sale.
Otherwise, Gumtree will probably be your best bet for a second-hand model. There won't be many available like the Aeron, though.
    Good luck.

  • I think only Living Edge has the contract for distribution here, at least that's the only vendor I saw when I was buying my chair. Zero chance you'll get an Embody from them for under $1k as they retail for 2k+. You'll only be able to find second hand from companies getting rid of their shit, Gumtree is generally good for this. Otherwise you're going to have to cough up the 2k+

    • The prices keep going up. They are not so expensive overseas. The aeron is nearly 2k now

      • Living Edge has sales pretty often, I got an Aeron Remastered Size C with graphite frame/base for $1500, keep in mind the size C is the largest size (I like space, not because I'm fat) and most expensive version of the Aeron (outside of the fancy frame/base). Pretty sure a normal size a/b was between $1200-$1300 on sale.

        • That's pretty reasonable but still expensive. I guess I just got to wait till it's on sale for it to be ~$1200

          • @[Deactivated]: Definitely expensive but they do have a 12 year warranty so it makes it more appealing.

            • @Kozhutki: I'm broke. The ergohuman looks appealing by price but doesn't seem anywhere as ergonomic as Herman Miller. There is a chair even better than Herman Miller. The KAB 24 hour chair

  • +1

for that money i could buy a car with 4 chairs in it (jk)
