I've searched and searched but can't seem to find any documentation on the subject, so hopefully someone here will know: if you don't meet the requirements of $1000+ deposit and five transactions per month, what will ING charge you in account fees?

I have an ING account and don’t meet those requirements but have never been charged if that helps.
Monthly account keeping fees? Nothing.
International purchase: 2.5% of the amount of the International Transaction
International ATM withdrawal: $2.50 + anything that the owner of the ATM adds on top.
Monthly account-keeping Fee: Free
You have to do 5 transactions of no minimum value. Meaning these could even be 50cents to $1 transactions. I have 2 accounts and have been managing very easily. (Pay for fuel, groceries, fresh market, online shopping, etc. etc.)
ING does have fees by stealth
By stealth? Every financial product has to come with a Product Disclosure Statement. Did you read it?
Ahh, I see - I’ve gotten the marketing language all mixed up. Thanks for the clarification everyone!
It's a no fee account. You are referring to the rebate eligibility.
