iPhone/iPad/AppStore/iTunes "Deals"

I hate seeing these in the "New Deals" section (right hand bar).

Everyday, someone posts a free app (or APPS - you know who you are!) And quite frankly, I don't really care cause I don't have an Apple device!
They shouldn't be "deals" either - it's a freebie.

There should be an option to filter this garbage out :P

Yes I hate those as well. They are almost like spam to me; And this is even when I own ipad.

You can filter them out of the RSS feeds using Yahoo! Pipes.

That filters out any deals that mention Iphone, ipad or itunes in a deal. You could probably set a filter for dominos deals and any deals that mention a state different to yours.

You can add it to Igoogle or output it to a page.

    Nope, it won't. It will just mean you'll be seeing ozbargain via a feed/external website or RSS reader. So much hassle to just get rid of apple rubbish. But good post by neil though! :)
    
    I guess we'll have to start posting up all the freebies from the Android Market soon. Then we can see how the apple fanboys will feel :)

    I've outputted the filtered new feed to a wiki page. Probably needs some formatting changes but that could be the alternative for those who prefer a webpage. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/newdeals_filterofappledeals
