Salomon XA Pro 3D are excellent hiking shoes (and are working well for bike) - comfortable, very sturdy with a good grip.
They're probably too sturdy, as I have a few pairs and they refuse to disintegrate despite lots of use in challenging conditions. :)
Currently heavily discounted at Anaconda to $100, and only Black colour (which looks good) at this price.
Not many sizes are available - e.g. 8 and 9 are available for online orders (+$10 delivery cost), some other sizes in local stores.
That is an amazing price for that model! And it's not the stinky goretex ones too. Bonus!
