60cm Oven Recommendations Please!

Hi guys

The oven at my rental property is broken. I was gonna go for a cheap one but then I'm moving in there to live towards end of the year so I wanna buy a decent oven but not too pricey.

I have no idea about these things, so I was hoping someone here could provide a few recommendations please.

My budget is around $500-$900.

Thanks in advance!

      Thank u!

  • Assuming you want electric, I've had good experience with this model, plus all manual so less to go wrong

(You can ring Appliances Online and see if they can do cheaper, too).

  • Put the below in our recent kitchen Reno. It's a great oven so far.

    • Thanks love Fisher paykel, I will do a bit of digging

  • You could try a spit roast with 12 inches at each end.

  • Bosch

    • I looked through a few but came across some with bad reviews. Any models you would recommend?

      • Only ones made in Germany, which will be out of the price range. I also looked at Bosch.

In your situation you want something reliable but you don’t want to over capitalise.
Bosch or Westinghouse would be my recommendation at this price point.
Don’t forget to get it added to you depreciation report.

    • As its R & M (replace a broken oven) surely it can be written off as an expense :)

    • Thank you.

Just wondering if I install it now and put on depreciation report, once I move in hence no longer an investment property, will it affect anything?

No. You just stop claiming once you move in.

    No it’s not a repair, it’s a new item.
Any remaining value of old oven would be immediate write off.
New oven would have effective life of 12 years. Or until it’s value drops below $300
