Thanks op. Also same price at Coles. I picked up a Murray River Salted Caramel packet to go with a cuppa tea. The packet didn’t last long, so a min buy of 3 with this is necessary!

    No double coat. No deal

  • +1

Also $1.82 at coles this week

Those bastards. Didn’t mention it in the Vic metro catalogue (unless I’m blind!).

  • +2

Min order 3 … ha, they need a max order higher!

  • +3

Now where's the CR/SB spend $5 get $2 back deal?

  • +3

    Guaranteed to arrive melted

    • I ordered some muesli bars that had chocolate on them when they first started their pantry service. Despite 3 people being home they never knocked and left them on the door step in full sun on a 35deg day. I did get a refund plus credit though and still ate the bars.

      • +1

Would that be another failway success story?

        • Probably, I don't remember. Who ever's done my last two Amazon deliveries have left them on the verandah. Couldn't be bothered walking the extra 3m to the door.

    • And they refund no questions ask for this = free tim tams

  • +1

Ozbargain keeps tempting me with all these sugar/fat loaded deals.
The cookie spread and now this!

I placed an order and then cancelled it 5 mins later, haha.

    • EDIT: Then ordered again… dammit!

  • +1

If you have to buy more than 1 pack, isn't it better value to get the family pack at $3.60 (regular price)?

    • +5

Most flavours aren’t available in the family pack
And the family pack is less then 2 packs
      Ie.
Regular Tim tam normal pack 200g 11 biscuits
      Family pack 330g 18 biscuits

    • No, do the math.

  • How are these packaged? Would we want to check the weather forecast before ordering these in the middle of summer?

    • +1

      Amazon box + airpocket/pillow packaging

    • +2

      More Landfill…Coles same price!

  • Thanks OP, couldn't resist and bought 3 each of double coat and caramel with 7% shopback. Now I guess I should get out of bed.

  • Thanks OP. Missed out on dark chocolate, but got the other 3

  • Double coat or nothin

Edit: Just realised double coat is available. Hello diabetes.

  • Where's Arnott's products made these days? Used to live near an Arnott's factory in SA and smelled the baking during the evenings… but heard that they are now made in China.

  • Why is white choc a rip off?

Tim Tam White Chocolate, 9 Biscuits, 165g

Tim Tam Original Chocolate, 11 Biscuits, 200g

Do your mouth and the environment a favour and just go into a Coles and buy them.

You wont get a melted product.

An individual pack of Tim tams doesn't need to be transported.

Another tree doesn't need to be cut down for the box.

Another heap of plastic packaging doesn't need to end up in Landfill!

    • +1

And what about those of us who don't have a Coles to shop at?

      • +3

Go to Amazon and stack with cashback for a lower price.

      • Hmmm… shop on Amazon, recycle the box, dunk the melted biscuits in a cup of tea/ milo/ coffee so you wont notice they are melted anyway.

    • Those Tim Tams come to Coles/Woolworths in boxes too, you know.

And I have been re-using my Amazon boxes or putting them away for a side project.

Please stop, this is too much logical reasoning for the ozbargain community. All we all love amazon deals.

      Typical ozbargain brain cell ticking:
      - I paid for prime I need to make use of it
      - it’s one less thing to carry during my regular shop
      - I don’t have coles nearby only woolies ( in spite of the fact woolies also has Tim tams on half price every second week as well)
      - oh I don’t waste boxes, I save them up for a cardboard party
      - but I like the surprise of a random box at my front door

      • +3
        • I don't "need" to make excuses to use Prime - I use all aspects of the membership daily including reading, music and video
        • I don't carry any of my shopping, my son does as I am physically unable to
        • I don't have a Coles nearby and Woolworths price of Tim Tams is currently $3.65. My crystal ball is broken so not sure what it will be next week.
        • I have been known to deliberately purchase cheap items from Amazon just so I can get the boxes, padded bags etc so I can reuse them for my various collectable sales :)
        • I don't get parcels delivered to my door, I am one of the many many regional/rural customers of Australia Post who help subsidise all those extra services those in the Metro areas of Australia get.
    • Not Coles in Penriff. Everything melts in that store.

    • Melted product, same chance no matter where you get it from.
Can't buy individual packets, min of 3 per order.
As for the boxes they are recycled and recyclable/reusable.
      Plastic packaging is recyclable too.

  • Just paid $1.50 at coles! But does not come with Amazon delivery girls keeping my front yard green during water restrictions.

  • Safe to order to VIC address, forecast says next week is cooled. As long as your front door is rainproof, parcel drop-off would be okay

  • These hover around $7.50 at Costco (was lower last time i went, though have also been a little higher in the past) for a 6 pack (3x family size) regular coat. Pretty great value IMO

  • Amazon is taking the biscuit…

  • I find family pack (330g) is cheaper sometimes at my local IGA for around $2.3/pack ($0.70/100g).

This $1.82 from amazon is $0.90/100g.

  • These things + bad diet in general gave me acid reflux.. now i'm on celery and coconut water. Any regrets? no.

    • Really? You obviously miss them to even click on this post, must be some slight regret.
Btw I would rather acid reflux than having to eat celery any day!

  • +1

Double Coat are now on back order, still at $1.82

  • mine arrived. all melted.

    • complain to amazon. they have brilliant customer service.
