Basically the way it works, from my understanding, is that the website looks up your location on google maps (or, if it can't find you, chooses a random one) and divides the area around you into small squares. You are allotted a certain amount of squares that you can claim as your own. If one of these squares is chosen at midnight UK time, you get money. If it isn't, then you might win the next day. Each day you sign in you get 5 extra squares you can claim and 50p added to your prize pool.
EDIT: Each day you DON'T sign in, you get 50p removed to a minimum of 5GBP

You can also do some other stuff to get more squares or increase your prize pool, but they mostly involve the UK.
These include, visiting a sponsor's site and singing up, buying something, reading a short story hosted on the main site, referring people, and just clicking on stuff in the blog posts.

There's also some instant win stuff if you find Bob on google maps. But idk if they'd bother putting him on the other side of the world or not, no idea if it works that way.
