This is a pretty good offer for those that don’t need huge amounts of data. Most $10 plans have 1Gb, so if you keep renewing it stays at 2gb per month.
amaysim 2GB Unlimited Plan $5 (Then $10 Per 28 Days)

I know this gonna be controversial, I just don't like the Optus coverage. The Telstra VoWifi also works great.
I would much prefer Boost over Optus, although I have dual SIM setup for my iPhone 11, where Optus being my Data sim and my primary number is under Boost.Agreed. Optus coverage is terrible. In my house I get literally zero voice or data reception with optus. With telstra I get 4G. What a joke.
I have been getting worse coverage since the Amaysim take over of Jeenee, guess will wait for the next Boost $135 deal and switch.
Boost is shocking coverage on my bush block…I switched from Amaysim to Boost and regret it…after the 12 mths are up I'll move back to an Optus network unless they do something. I get H+ if I am lucky and often no siganl at all (just south of Crows Nest Qld) whereas Amaysim was 4g all the time….so it is horse for courses …but I won't fall for that Telstra brag that they have the best coverage of all the providers after my experience.
Boost is $11.25 per month for 6.7Gb if you get it on sale.
I got for $10.29 per month on a OW price beat.
Agree that Boost is better because it's on the Telsta network. I've been with Amaysim for many years but they are under Optus which is slow and lesser coverage. The 28 days renewal cycle is a ripoff. Their international roaming is even worse - complete zero reception in Japan & US. Switched to Boost last June and have been happy. Have not tested int'l roaming yet though.
I also have one of my numbers with Boost. The only problem with Boost is there is no such thing as free international roaming only to receive SMS.
Whereas some operators like Amaysim and Circles.Life offer free international roaming if you only want to receive SMS.I'm with Boost and I received SMS when I travelled overseas recently.
@lomie: You should report it to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman..
I agree that the 28 day sis a rip off…at least Boost do a full 12 months BUT, the coverage is not as good as they advertise (Telstra)…no signal most of the time on my block (south of Crows Nest Qld…real problem during the bushfires….thank goodness I was still with Optus\Amaysim which had full 4g coverage there.
Any idea if any of these 12 month boost plans are coming on special soon or are already? My 12 month catchconnect delay is ending soon and I want to get something cheap - only need 10-20gb or more and talk/text in Australia and wanted something as cheap as possible since I already have a work Sim I can use in my phone also…
Per year really…I tend to use my work Sims data and only use my personal one for SMS and phone calls
@JuryWheel: Tomorrow's Woolworths catalogue has the $60 Woolworths Mobile starter pack on sale for $50 which includes 12 GB with 180 day expiry. About $8.50 per month for about 2 GB per month with unlimited talk and text for standard national calls. Might be worth considering.

Per 28 days. Not per month. 365 days works out to be just slightly over $130 ($125 if paying $5 first month) per year because you are paying 13 times in 365 days
So works out to be more like $10.83 per month versus Boost Mobile for not much difference which is a far superior network and more data plus all the other perks
Suitable for existing customers? Unable to get terms and conditions link to work.
Found it: "Not to be used in conjunction with an existing mobile service." So new customers only.
Ask them on the chat, they converted me and gave a month free cause I wasn't getting marketing messages.
Does it stack with cashback?
Damn I just bought it on Friday with $10 and 1.5 GB.
Same. 😂
Likewise…
My reading of the T&C's is that it is only $5 for the first month if you renew for a second month.
You pay $10 for the first month, and get a $5 credit in the second month.
Actually the discount is upfront, ie. You only pay $5 for the first month. You can see the price when its in your cart. Same goes for the 30gb one for $10
it stays at 2gb per month.
28 days is not a month.
It is sometimes. About 3 out of 48 months. Not this year though.
How is this better than the Boost deals at $135 for the year?
Even Belong would be better? Start up with more data (double in first month if you activate on the right dates)
As a postpaid, you run the risk of going over the measly 2gb allowance and you'd be stung for the extra data, no?
