    Shopback, homerun after homerun

      • -3

Lots of people did not get cashback from that deal though.

        • +2

Because they did it wrong. Same applies to all cashback websites.

          • +1

@Clear: I use cashreward and shopback many times and only pizza hut that did not get through.

Pizza hut also don't send you the receipt unless you request it. It does complicate things.

            • @sorasora: If you paid cash, spent under $10 or bought more that one per day you would have resulted in a no track. It really shouldn't be that hard to read the simple requirements.

              • @Clear: Where does it say you must spend $10. I only see a $10 cap.

                • +1

@[Deactivated]: I said if you spent under $10 and CR said you must spend at least $10… aka not less than $10.

                  I don't see the problem?

              • @Clear: I paid by debit card on pizza hut website, spent 11.61 dollars and just bought once on the first day and didn't buy again after that.

I provided all the evidences up to my own bank account to show that I paid by debit card

Again,I have used both cashreward and shopback many times and I have hundreds of dollars on those websites, but I only have problem with pizza hut promo and apparently lots of people experienced the same

                • @sorasora: And somehow you know that "lots of people" experienced the same as you?

                  • +1

@Clear: Happened to me on one of my transactions. No problems day 1. Day 2 got rejected. I had all receipts and credit card statements. I met all conditions.

CR only came to the party after I asked to speak to Pizza Hut.

I think there was an issue at Pizza Huts end as they had no record of the purchase.

It doesn't surprise me it occurred to others.

                    • @bargain_knight: I'm not denying it happened. Rather it happened to a small handful of people compared to "lots of people".

                      • +2

@Clear: But you said: "Because they did it wrong. Same applies to all cashback websites."

I didn't do it wrong and neither did the previous poster.

People need to be aware that things can go wrong with systems at any point and if they do, you won't get the cashback or you'll need to fight for it.

                        • +1

@bargain_knight: That is also true as the tracking occurs at the merchants end. Some merchants like Groupon have terrible tracking, while others who use a big affiliate network like Rakuten Linkshare have better tracking.

                  • @Clear: Compared to other cashback promos I've done,it's a lot . You can just read that particular ozbargain thread or on whirlpool.

I don't understand why you are trying to debate this. I don't have any agenda,I am just writing what I have observed.

Like you've said,it's about the merchant, not about the cashback companies, and that's why what I've written is from the pizza hut end. No receipt,no record, etc.

                    • @sorasora: I'm debating the "lots of people" which is infact a minority. But as you say I am just writing what I have observed.

            • @sorasora: They always send receipts for pizzahut dude, have never had an issue with tracking through SB

        • I received the full $30 for that promo.

  • Hmmm… Had pizza hut last night. 🤔

    • +2

You can pre-order a pizza up to 7 days.

      • I didn't know that thanks lol

    • +1

Today is a new day, my friend.

  • +5

Shame we won't be able to use it with this

  • too early for WA

    • Late lunch? Or snack with beers.

    • pre-order for later in the day, or for next week…

  • +1

For those who's local pizza hut end up being the Pennant Hills one in Western Sydney… Don't bother wasting your money even at 90% off they are not worth the headache… Most ridiculous pizza store ever!…

Pizza Hut can't help you (some call centre in Manila) if u have issues and trust me you will almost certainly have issues with these people…

You can see the theme if you read some of the Google reviews…lol smh

RIP pizza hut if this is the franchisees you have to work with… I learnt the hard way using cashrewards deal last time (yes I got my $10 no issues with cashrewards)

    • +1

Agree, pizza hut are a basket case and that store is utter rubbish. Had an order there a few weeks ago. First and last.

Unfortunately, the Carlingford one is not much better. Store quiet AF yet they are slow to serve, slow to manage the a little trickle of orders. Just useless. If you know a decent value altnerative in the area pls share!!

      • Yep made the mistake of ordering before checking… My bad there cuz the online reviews made it pretty clear what to expect loll..

Sorry only know dominos around us, used to have castle hill one as the local but now it's the Cherrybrook one who have been great service wise.. Pizza wise it's dominos so can't expect anything amazing but good enough for the kids..

Even the kids (after waiting for an hour for their pizza hut pizza which as a parent is painful enough) said this isn't nice.. It's a frikin cheese pizza! How in gods name do you get cheese pizzas wrong…#endofrant lol

Use code HUT5261 for a free garlic bread with any large pizza.

    • Will this not invalidate cashback as it is not listed in shopback?

      • +6

        • Cashback valid with the use of all Promo Codes

Usually they won't pay cashback if discount codes from outside their site are used, if so then the value is zilch.
Also note 75 days until cashback available.

    • +2

It says in the terms that cashback is valid with all promo codes?

  • -1

Unthoughtful promo times for WA users.

    • +1

Don't succeed. We need the mining royalties.

    • Don't select the default 'ASAP' time — pick whatever time suits you. That's what I'll be doing (in WA too). Just have to order between 2.00pm-4.00pm (Perth time).

  • Am I eligible for this with a cash payment? Or is this like the cashrewards promo where it is card payments only?

    • +1

      Card only

  • +1

"Order need to be paid online"
Realize it after finish putting order and payment method CASH.
Their previous cashback deal doesnt require online payment.

  • +4

If anyone is ordering 2 pizzas, may as well use:
    HUT5258 - 3 Pizzas $23.85 (Pick up)

    Works out to be $4.61/pizza

  • Anyone getting an Internal Error at checkout?

    • You may have your card blocked online payments. I have enabled mine and it went through.

  • -4

Do I get the cash back at the time of payment or is this some dodgy app refund?

  • Thanks OP. Lunch for Monday sorted. And cashback reported by Shopback correctly almost instantly.

  • -1

    Ordered tonight. Pizza is rubbish.

  • In my experience good pizzas with Personal Pan, $6 for 2 with $3 cashback

  • Are people still waiting for their order to be tracked?
