Samsung A30s or Redmi Note 8T? Sub $300 Phone

Looking for a budget smart phone. Have narrowed it down to these two sub $300 phones. Samsung A30s on TobyDeals for $274 shipped and the RedmiNote 8T for $235 shipped.

From what I can tell both have NFC, a 4000 battery, AMOLED screen, Type C, Band 28 (a must for my rural town), 5hgz WiFi and ear jack. The Redmi Note 8T has an IR Blaster that would be handy for me but from what i can tell the Samsung would have a much better camera even if it is 24mp Vs 48 on the redmi.

Anyone got either of these phones and could provide some feedback.

    Note 8T. Love mine. The camera is definitely better than the Samsung.
