iPhone X Camera Settings, Is Samsung Galaxy Camera Better and More User Friendly That Apple iPhones?

is there a way iPhone X camera adjusts brightness and exposure itself?

every time I have to click the photo, I have to adjust the settings and its a pain.

A friend of mine has Samsung S9 and it auto adjusts itself.I was amazed it auto adjusts the parameters depending upon the light condition.

for instance I clicked some photos on the beach and I have to lower the brightness and while doing photography in low light, I have to increase the brightness.

happy to buy an app if there is one.

Yes, you use your finger to where the camera should focus (it will then adjust exposure to that focus point). Not sure if you can separate the focus point and exposure point in the in-app camera but I know there's apps in the store to do that.

    • Thanks Mate. my major concern is the brightness

      • Usually point at the brightest spot of the focus area then it should adjust. Its hard to say whether its the software/phone or the user. Your friend may point at a better focus point than you . You have to test side by side and point at the same point with the same lighting to see which adjust better.

Another thing is sometime ur lens may get dirty or even scratched. This will affect it as well (I've gone through this and thought its my phone, apparently just a scratched up lens)

Hold to lock focus & exposure. then drag up/down to change the exposure

    Yes. It's called auto exposure.

I'm not an apple user but it sounds like you have entered a manual exposure mode.

Is there a reset camera settings function?

    • unfortunately this setting doesn't exist. we have to adjust brightness anyway
